How did Heinz In Style start?
With a red 1934 Fluid Drive Dodge from a scrapyard in Upington.
It became the star display in a shop almost 1,000 km away. The old Dodge was mounted against the wall in July 1992, and Heinz In Style has been Port Elizabeth's go-to shop for stylish formalwear hire ever since.
Who is Heinz?
Heinz is the stylist to the stars and the fashion guru behind the shop.
He has sent hundreds of grooms and brides down the aisle, matriculants through the doors of their farewells, and ladies and gents onto the red carpet at an array of functions, all dressed in exclusive finery from 45 on Third, Newton Park.
What do the diamonds in our logo mean?
The one diamond on the left is Hein, and the three on the right are the shop's three decades.
The gold line between them is the thread that runs through it all: a shop built, one decade at a time, around the person behind it.
